Lohri is a joyous occasion that marks the end of the winter season and the beginning of the harvest season. Residents of NTPC township celebrated Lohri with full enthusiasm. Utsav Samiti had organized the event with fullest traditions on its best. Beginning with the born fire and prayers being offered while offering corn and nuts to the holy fire. Following that attendees danced their hearts out to the beats of rhythmic traditional bhangra dhol.
